It’s hard to bare the fact that we don’t have scientific truths to live by in society, politics, economics, and instead have to craft forms of organizations and institutions and arrangements, that we’re always experimenting with, and always have to be willing to back off, and say we got that wrong, we really need to think different about this, we forgot to think about x and y while we were over here thinking about a and b.
